Yala Peak Climbing Adventure one of the lesser trekking peaks of Nepal Himalaya where every trekkers and adventurer can reach its summit top with support of our excellent and expert guides, an adventure of over a week duration.

Yala Peak Climbing Adventure will be an unforgettable experience as this mountain of less technical challenge to climb, however one needs to be fit to enjoy the adventure from the start to an end of the journey.

Yala Peak Climbing Adventure leads you to beautiful and scenic Kyanjin around Langtang valley where Yala peak located beyond the valley rim within east direction near the end of Langtang Himal close to Jugal and Dorji Himal.

Yala Peak towers high at 5,732 m and 18,806 ft high, where grade as F means ‘Facial Easy’ the systems comes French-Swiss Alpine Climbing Classification, although less technical with straight-forward climb to its summit, but one requires healthy mind and fitness including fine clear weather to accomplish the ascent.

Adventure starts with overland journey from Kathmandu to reach cooler hilly areas of Langtang Himal region at Dhunche town and Syabrubesi villages in the heart of Tamang country, a tribe of Mongolian and Tibetan origin with similar Buddhist religion and culture, where border to Tibet situated within a mere distance.

Walk leads into high cooler alpine hills and river gorge covered within thick forest of beautiful rhododendron-magnolia-firs-pine-oaks trees with some bamboo groves which makes excellent habitation for rare and elusive Red Panda and other wild animals and bird life.

As adventure continues, as gorge turns into a scenic and magnificent valley at Kyanjin with Langtang Himal, with rest day to acclimatize before the climb and then heading towards our aim and goal on top Yala Peak offering spectacular panorama of Central Himalaya range of peaks.

After a wonderful moment on top Yala Peak, where walk leads back to road-head at Syabrubesi taking a scenic drive to Kathmandu after a great time and experience on Yala Peak Climbing Adventure.

Day 03: Drive to Syabrubesi 1,470 m via Trisuli and Dhunche town 1,950 - 06 hrs.

Day 04: Trek to Lama Hotel 2,350 m - 06 hrs.                       

Day 05: Trek to Langtang village 3, 307m - 05 hrs.

Day 06: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa 3,749m - 04 hours.

Day 07: Rest-Day for acclimatization at leisure for hike around.

Day 08: Trek to Yala Peak Base Camp 4,400 m / 14,435 ft - 05 hours.

Day 09: Climb of Yala Peak at above 5,732 m / 18,806 ft - 08 hrs back to base camp.

Day 10: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa - 05 hrs.

Day 01: Reach Kathmandu 1,345 m and then transfer to respective Hotels

On reaching at Kathmandu international airport received by our representative and guide, then transfer for short drive in the heart of Kathmandu city and to your hotels.

After checking into your pleasant rooms then join in for group briefing regarding Yala Peak Climbing Adventure with other useful information to make your stay in Nepal with us more enjoyable and worth-while.

Evening includes group dinner in a nice Nepalese restaurant with cultural programs as entertainment.

Day 02: In Kathmandu sightseeing tour and preparations for Langtang trek.

Morning after breakfast in the hotel, our tour guide will take you in the heart of Kathmandu city, for exciting historical and heritage tour of old Durbar (royal palace and courtyard) square of great importance.

Tour includes Temple of Kumari (Living young virgin Goddess) Kastamandap Temple where Kathmandu name derived from, a temple built with the wood of a single tree, tour of old palace during the reign of Malla and late Shah kings.

Afternoon tour of famous Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath and visit Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the largest dome shaped monument in Asia of Buddhist religion and culture, after an exciting and interesting tour head back to hotel preparation for Yala Peak Climbing Adventure.

Day 03: Drive to Syabrubesi 1,470 m via Trisuli and Dhunche town 1,950 - 06 hrs.

Morning starts with an interesting overland journey heading towards North-West on the highway to Langtang Himal, to reach Dhunche the headquarter town of Rasuwa district around Langtang, as drive leads past to Syabrubesi village to end the long exciting drive.

Day 04: Trek to Lama Hotel 2,200m - 06 hrs.

Beginning our walk from Syabrubesi where trail leads to a climb for a while but the rest of the walk on gradual winding uphill path into terraced farm fields and villages, as our route descends at a river side place near Bamboo, a small settlement.

After a short refreshing break, continue walk into cool forest within a river gorge as walk follows within cool shade of rhododendron and oaks forest, finally completing the day walk of six hours reaching a small place at Lama-Hotel for overnight stop within serene woodland.

Day 05: Trek to Langtang village 3, 307m - 05 hrs.

With refreshing overnight stop where morning walks leads higher at Ghore-tabela for lunch stop amidst lovely forest of pines, hemlocks and rhododendron from here onwards you can feel the altitude, with a break here trek continues on the trail to Langtang valley.

After an hour of pleasant walk in cool shade of woodland, on crossing a small stream leaving the tree line behind where walk leads to a climb for an hour, and then on good nice gradual path to Langtang village for overnight stop.

Day 06: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa 3,749 m - 04 hours.

From Langtang village, morning walk leads to a nice path and then on uphill trail for few hours following “mani-prayer wall” where walking clockwise direction a positive way in respect to Buddhist religion, walk leads further east as the valley opens up with views of snow capped peaks.

After few hours of gentle walk with views brings you at Kyanjin Gompa a charming and scenic spot with beautiful views of Langtang Lirung of above 7,000m and its icefall at close distance Kyanjin Gompa, surrounded by a ridge formed by glacial moraine of rocks and boulders.

Day 07: Rest day for acclimatization and for hike around.

At leisure, and a rest day with time to explore its small interesting Cheese factory which was built and supported by Swiss Technical Assistance.

For energetic people hike to a high hill at Tsego-Ri or Kyngin Ri at above 4,700 m / 15,420ft adding more altitude on this adventure, rewards you with panorama of snow capped mountains.

Enjoy views of Langtang Himal, Ganesh Himal (7,405 m), Langtang Lirung (7,234 m),  Ghengu Liru (Langtang II  6,571m), Kimshun (6,745 m) and Shalbachum(6,918m), Chimsedang, Naya-Kanga or Ganja Chuli (5,846m), Gangchempo, Tilman's beautiful Fluted Peak, Jugal Himal and ending towards eastern horizon at Dorje Lakpa (6,980m).

Day 08: Trek to Yala Peak Base Camp 4,400 m / 14,435 ft - 05 hours.

From Kyanjin Gompa heading to our final goal and highlights of the adventure, walks leads on rocky glacier and then with steep climb into icy trail to reach a flat camping area beneath Yala Peak to set our base camp at 4,400m. The camp offers super views of Ganchenpo, Naya Kang, TserkoRi, Yala peak and others peaks.

Day 09: Climb to Yala Summit 5,732 m / 18,806 ft and descend to base camp.

Our adventurous climb on top Yala Peak starts early morning with steep climb towards summit depending on weather conditions as well.

The climb is of less technical effort but it takes about eight hours to reach the summit and back to base camp.

After a tough and scenic climb to its summit top at 5,732 meters / 18,806 feet, rewarded with super views of Shishapangma, Dorje Lakpa, Ganchenpo, Naya Kang, TserkoRi, Langtang Lirung and many other mountains on Tibet side, after a marvelous moment on top descend safely to base camp.

Day 10: Return to Kyanjin Gompa -05 hrs.

After a great adventurous climb on top Yala Peak, and then leave the base camp for return trek to Kyanjin Gompa following an icy path enjoying the views to reach Kyanjin Gompa for overnight stop in the comfort of nice cozy lodge.

Day 11: Trek to Lama Hotel 2, 350 m - 06 hrs.

After a wonderful time at Kyanjin, journey leads back on same route to Lama-Hotel a small settlement in the midst of the forest at the bank of upper Trisuli River.

Day 12: Trek to Syabrubesi - 06 hours walk.

Our last day trekking of this fabulous journeylead back to Syabrubesi as the morning walk follows the same trail with much downhill passing spread-out farm villages and terrace fields and eventually reaching at Bhote Kosi River which later joins with Trisuli River, after crossing a suspension bridge a pleasant walk brings you at Syabrubesi for last and final overnights around Langtang Himal area and Rasuwa district.

Day 13: Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.

Morning an early drive back to Kathmandu on same interesting highway with exciting moments as drive leads through rural farm villages and towns with views of mountains after six hours journey ending at Kathmandu, and then transfer to your respective hotels.

Day 14: In Kathmandu for individual activities and optional tour.

In Kathmandu reserved this extra day for you to enjoy individual activities and shopping souvenirs or join in another exciting tour around Kathmandu-Patan / Lalitpur and Bhaktapur of great interest.

Day 15: Depart for International flights homeward bound.

Final and last day in Nepal, country of high Himalaya and varied culture, after a memorable experience and great scenic moment on Yala Peak Climbing Adventure, with time for international flight our staff transfer you to the airport for  homeward bound or to your next port of call and respective destinations.
