Walking for some-days on popular Annapurna circuit trail, where our route diverts towards hidden high valley of Manang at Nar and Phu villages with great moments exploring around remote and weather-beaten villages of great interest.

After a marvelous and interesting time at Phu then walk towards Na a similar type village of Buddhist religion and ancient heritage, from here heading towards a high and scenic Kang-la pass above 5,322 high after traverse over this scenic pass downhill on main trails to Manang village.

A beautiful location of Manang village enclosed within Annapurna Northern peaks with Chulus to the north direction, with time here visiting its nice cultural village and then towards the highest point of the adventure to cross over Thorang-La, where top of the pass festooned with thousands of Buddhist colorful prayer flags.

Enjoying lovely views from the top at 5,416 m high then descend to Mustang region at holy Muktinath, a famous pilgrimage spot for both Hindu and Buddhist followers, explore the temple premises of great wonders of spiritual background.

Our wonderful adventure and walks ends taking a short drive to Jomsom, a headquarter town of Mustang and home to indigenous Thakali tribe of lower Mustang located around Kaligandaki River valley.

Day 01: Reach Kathmandu 1,345 m and then transfer to respective Hotels

On reaching at Kathmandu international airport received by our representative and guide, then transfer for short drive in the heart of Kathmandu city and to your hotels.

After checking into your pleasant rooms then join in for group briefing regarding Nar-Phu Annapurna treks with other useful information to make your stay in Nepal with us more enjoyable and worth-while.

Evening includes group dinner in a nice Nepalese restaurant with cultural programs as entertainment.

Day 02: In Kathmandu with tour and preparations for Nar-Phu Annapurna trek.

Morning after breakfast in the hotel, our tour guide will take you in the heart of Kathmandu city, for exciting historical and heritage tour of old Durbar (royal palace and courtyard) square of great importance.

Tour includes Temple of Kumari (Living young virgin Goddess) Kastamandap Temple where Kathmandu name derived from, a temple built with the wood of a single tree, tour of old palace during the reign of Malla and late Shah kings.

Afternoon tour of famous Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath and visit Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the largest dome shaped monument in Asia of Buddhist religion and culture.
After an exciting and interesting tour head back to hotel preparation for Nar-Phu Annapurna trekking next early morning with exciting drive to Nepal Mid-West.

Day 03: Drive to Besisar 800 m and to Syange 1,100 m - 06 hrs.

Starting wonderful Tilicho Lake and around Annapurna trek taking an interesting long drive towards north mid west from Kathmandu, leading past Besisar town (headquarter of Lamjung district). From here transfer to another vehicle for the rough and exciting drive on dirt trail to Khudi village and continue further following Marysangdi River to reach at a small farm village Syange for overnight stop.

A nice village located by the Marysangdi River with sub-tropical temperature with time here to browse around the village market or dip in the river around shallow side of the raging fast flowing river.

Day 04: Trek to Dharapani 1,920 m - 06 hours.

From Syange first day walk begins heading towards farm areas on leaving Marysangdi River to reach at Jagat village, a small farm village with few good lodges for trekkers.

From Jagat morning walk starts on winding path to Chamje, and towards Marysangdi River, and into forested area with super views of Annapurna and Manaslu range, walk continues reaching at Tal village located on a nice valley, after Tal Besi few hours walk to Dharapani village for overnight stop.

Dharapani a nice village with Buddhist culture, situated on the junction of Annapurna circuit and Manaslu trekking trail.

Day 06: Trek to Kotto 2,670m - 05 hrs.

Starting morning walk into cool rhododendron and pine forest past villages of Bagachap and Danque, and then climb up to Timang village.

From here onward entering into more Buddhist cultural areas, with super view of Mt. Manaslu 8,163m / 26,781ft, after Timang few hours trek leads to moderate size village at Kotto for overnight stop, located next to a large town of Chame a major town and headquarter of Manang district.

Day 07: Trek to Dharma-Shala 3,230m - 05 hours.

From Koto our route diverts from main Annapurna circuit trail for some days heading towards Nar & Phu villages, within hidden corners of Upper Manang and close to Tibet border around the country where herds of blue sheep and snow leopards dwells.

Walk continues into narrow valley covered with pines and rhododendron trees, and then reaching at nice pasture fields with huts and sheds of cattle herders and then into a gorge created by Pisang Peak and Kang-guru Himal lower basin, walk carries on following Nar-Phu khola (stream) upstream to reach Dharma-Shala for first overnight stop on the new trail of Nar-Phu area.

Day 08: Trek to Kyang 4,100 m - 6 hrs.

Morning walk leads to far north towards Phu village within remote and isolated area of dry, arid landscapes, with chances of seeing some wildlife’s Blue Sheep’s, Snow Leopard, Musk deer’s and mountain goats.

Walk continues reaching at Kyang for overnight stop after an interesting day, Kyang with dozen of farm houses and of Tibetan life style and culture in this wild surrounding.

Day 09: Trek to Phu village 4,080 m - 06 hours.

Today, our destination to Phu village start the morning walk leading towards Phu Khola and following upstream for some time and then descending back to river again, and then a climb to reach a gorge valley, walking in gorge for some time and then leading up into a wide glacial valley with pasture lands ending at Phu village of strong Tibetan influence culture, traditions and religion.

Day 10: Rest day at Phu village, visit and hike around Phu village and valley

A necessary rest day at Phu around high altitude for good acclimatization ads well to explore Phu village visit its old Tashilkhang and Samdu Choling Monastery and Kyauchyu waterfalls, Phu village of about 30 houses for 100 to 150 inhabitants.

Day 11: Trek to Nar Phedi 3,545 m - 06 hrs.

From Phu village walk leads on the same trail for few hours and then descend to a narrow gorge at Phu khola, from here a slow climb to Yughat a small village with Mani, chhorten a Buddhist shrines, then reaching a flat field at Nar Phedi for overnight stop.

Day 12: Trek to Nar-Gaon 4,206 m - 06 hrs.

Walk this morning leads to Phu Khola and then over a suspension bridge over Phu Khola (stream), after the bridge steep climb for few hours to reach a flat area with gentle walk to Nar village for overnight.

Narg-Gaon, in comparison to Phu, similar but much smaller due to its remoteness within a high altitude and much dry arid country located on route high Kang-la pass.

Day 13: Trek to Kang-La Base Camp 4,530 m - 05 hrs.

After Nar-Gaon walk heads to remote wilderness, away from human settlement for few days, an interesting walk for few hours then with short ups and downs in some rocky and arid path, passing cattle herders shelters and grazing field heading further west following Temdenzon khola in this wild surrounding with views of snow peaks and finally reaching at Kang la pass base for overnight camp at 4,530 meters altitude.

Day 14: Cross Kangla Pass 5,322m and trek to Ngawal 3,650 m - 07 hrs.

Starting early morning to cross Kang-la at an altitude of 5,322 meters, walk climbs higher on a steep slope for few hours with stunning views of Pisang Peak with Chulu Far East Peak, and then reaching the top of the pass with wonderful views of Annapurna massif mountain range, Chulu Peaks, Lamjung Himal and adjoining peaks of Annapurna range.

From downhill to Ngawal via Julu village close to Manang and main Annapurna circuit trail.

Day 15: Trek to Manang 3,450 m - 04 hrs.

Morning walk leads you to main Annapurna circuit trail, with short ups and down-hill treks facing views of Annapurna II and III, Gangapurna Chulu and Pisang peak.
On route Manang village visit old Braga monastery enriched with Buddhist ancient relics, colorful painting, frescos includes super panorama of Annapurna Himalaya, from here an hour walk to Manang village where houses are of traditional Tibetan style with similar culture and traditions.

Day 16: Trek to Yak Kharka 4,110 m - 06 hours.

After an enjoyable stop at Manang village, morning adventure leads towards Yak Kharka, an interesting high altitude walk with super scenery of the snowcapped mountains, then crossing the river to reach Yak Kharka a small settlement, offering grand views of Gangapurna, Annapurna III and Chulu Peaks.

Day 17: Trek to Thorang High Camp 4,600 m - 04 hrs.

Morning walk leads closer to Thorang-la as the walk progress crossing a bridge and then a climb along the Jarjung River, then leading at Thorang Phedi for short rest and then climb the last hour uphill to Thorang High Camp for overnight stop.

Day 18: Cross Thorang-La 5,416 m and to Muktinath 3,800 m - 07 hrs.

Starting early morning for another big day to reach highest spot of the adventure over Thorang-la, where climb leads to steep haul to reach at 5,416 m / 17,700 ft on top Thorang-la festooned with thousands of Buddhist colorful prayer flags.

Thorang-La Pass rewards you with super vista of landscapes and snowcapped peaks, from here a long descend to Muktinath at 3,800 m.

Muktinath a holy place for both Hindu and Buddhist the word Muktinath literally means ‘the place for Nirvana or Liberation’.

Day 19: Drive to Jomsom 2,715 m - 02 hrs.

After Muktinath, rest of the journey much easier taking an exciting and scenic drive all the way downhill with big drop of 1,200m to Kaligandaki river valley, as ride leads at Kaligandaki river valley to reach at Jomsom, headquarter town of Mustang area with small airstrip above Kaligandaki river.

At Jomsom enjoy leisure afternoon exploring this charming town with white painted houses, paved streets and well kept lodges. Jomsom and around Kaligandaki home of Thakali people, as well famous for delicious apple and its products cider, brandy and juice this area from Kagbeni to Larjung is famous for apples orchard.

Day 20: Fly to Pokhara 860m from Jomsom with free afternoon on this scenic city.

From Jomsom early morning after a quick hearty breakfast, transfer to Jomsom airport where short scenic flight takes you at scenic city in Pokhara, on a small aircraft with fabulous panorama of Annapurna-Manaslu and Dhaulagiri range of peaks.

On reaching Pokhara airport transfer to your hotels by the calm lake Phewa with wonderful views of Annapurna-Manaslu with Machhapuchare Himal, the famous Fish Tail peak with time for rest and tour of Pokhara.

Day 21: Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.

Morning an early drive back to Kathmandu on same interesting highway with exciting moments as drive leads through rural farm villages and towns with views of mountains after six hours journey ending at Kathmandu, and then transfer to your respective hotels.

Day 22: Depart for International flights homeward bound.

Final and last day in Nepal, country of high Himalaya and varied culture, after a memorable experience and great scenic adventure on Nar-Phu Annapurna trekking, with your time for international flight our staff transfer you to the airport for homeward bound or to your next port of call and respective destinations.
