Day 01: Reach Kathmandu 1,345 m and then transfer to respective Hotels

Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani 2,840 m - 04 hrs

Day 06: Morning Hike to Poon Hill 3,210 m and trek to Tadapani 2,700 m -05 hrs.

Day 07: Trek to Chomrong village at 2,170m - 06 hrs.

Day 08: Trek to Bamboo 2,310 - 06 hrs.

Day 01: Reach Kathmandu 1,345 m and then transfer to respective Hotels

On reaching at Kathmandu international airport received by our representative and guide, then transfer for short drive in the heart of Kathmandu city and to your hotels.

After checking into your pleasant rooms then join in for group briefing regarding Poon Hill and Annapurna Base Camp treks with other useful information to make your stay in Nepal with us more enjoyable and worth-while.

Evening includes group dinner in a nice Nepalese restaurant with cultural programs as entertainment.

Day 02: In Kathmandu sightseeing tour and preparations for Manaslu trek.

Morning after breakfast in the hotel, our tour guide will take you in the heart of Kathmandu city, for exciting historical and heritage tour of old Durbar (royal palace and courtyard) square of great importance.

Tour includes Temple of Kumari (Living young virgin Goddess) Kastamandap Temple where Kathmandu name derived from, a temple built with the wood of a single tree, tour of old palace during the reign of Malla and late Shah kings.

Afternoon tour of famous Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath and visit Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the largest dome shaped monument in Asia of Buddhist religion and culture.
After an exciting and interesting tour head back to hotel preparation for trek to Annapurna Base Camp next early morning with exciting drive to Nepal Mid-West.

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara 820m (220 k.m) - 06 hrs journey.

Morning exciting drive to Nepal Mid West at Pokhara where journey leads on Nepal most busy and interesting highway, where drive leads for near six hours to reach Pokhara, and then transfer to respective hotels by the Phewa Lake.

Afternoon with time for short walks around the lakeside full of good restaurants-shops- and stores with excellent hotels.

(Options via air 30 minutes of scenic flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu)

Day 04: Drive to Bhirethati and trek to Ulleri 1,670 m via Tirkhedhunga 1,435 m - 02 hrs drive / 04 hrs walk.

After a wonderful stop at scenic and beautiful Pokhara facing views of Annapurna Himal and Machhapuchare peaks 'Fish Tail', after breakfast heading beyond Pokhara valley to start our first day walk.

Drive leads along with grand views of Annapurna past farm villages and towns and then following Modi River upstream to reach at Bhirethati one of the charming village within Annapurna region, from here our first day starts on slow winding trail with uphill to Hille and then at Tirkhedhunga overlooking cascading waterfalls.

From here walk starts with a climb on nice paved stone steps to reach at Ulleri a large and typical Hill village, inhabited mostly by Gurung tribes with thatched and slated roofs offering views of Machhapuchare Himal with Annapurna South and Huinchuli peaks.

Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani 2,840 m - 05 hrs.

From here on gradual winding up trail to reach at Ghorepani as walk leads into lovely alpine woodland of rhododendron and pine trees.

After a great pleasant walk reaching at Ghorepani for next morning hike to Poon Hill, Ghorepani home of Poon people of Magar origin tribe, an ethnic hill tribes of Nepal famous as Gorkha soldiers in UK-India and other foreign countries. This village with many good lodges offers marvelous views of Dhaulagiri-Tukuche-Nilgiri’s and Annapurna Himalayan mountains.

Day 06: Morning Hike to Poon Hill 3,210 m and trek to Tadapani 2,700 m - 05 hrs.

Early morning before breakfast, hike up for an hour on top scenic Poon Hill at above 3,210 m our highest spot of this wonderful trekking.

From Poon Hill catch striking sunrise views of panorama of mountains which includes Dhaulagiri-Tukuche-Nilgiri’s-Annapurna Fang (Vara Shikar) Annapurna range of peaks with majestic Machhapuchare Himal 'Fish Tail' the unclimbed and virgin peaks of Himalaya.

View includes Mt. Manaslu with Lamjung extending towards Ganesh Himal due east horizon, after a marvelous photo session head back to Ghorepani for breakfast and carry on trekking uphill into beautiful woods of rhododendron trees with views of mountains.

Finally as walk leads to descend and then up at Tadapani within forested areas with grand views of Annapurna Himalaya.

Day 07: Trek to Chomrong 2,170 m - 06 hours.

Another beautiful morning view from Tadapani, from here walk leads to a long descend to Kimrong valley within shade of a forest to reach Gurjong village, then climb for another hour all the way to the top of Chomrong village, a short downhill walk to the overnight stop at Chomrong village, this is the last permanent Gurung village and the gateway to Annapurna Sanctuary and Base Camp.

Day 08: Trek to Bamboo 2,310 - 06 hrs.

Morning walk on downhill to a fast running narrow river, here cross over a short bridge and then climb up to Sinuwa at 2,360 m high, a small lonely spot with few shops and nice lodges, walk from here leads into cool forested area of oaks-rhododendron and pines trees and then a short steep descend to Bamboo, a small settlement with number of lodges surrounded within bamboo groves situated into a Modi River gorge.

Day 09: Trek to Deurali 3,200 m - 05 hrs.

After Bamboo an hour or more of slow climb leads you at Dovan located within Modi River Gorge with couple of lodge for overnight stay.

After a short refreshing stop at Dovan with the sounds of Modi River, morning walk enters higher areas within thick forested area to reach at Himalaya Hotel, located beneath Huichuli peak and large overhanging Hinko Cave.

From here downhill to cross an ablation of an old avalanche of rocks and moraine, then a short climb to Deurali for overnight stop.

Day 10: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp 4,130 m - 05 hrs with free afternoon.

From Deurali after breakfast heading higher leaving tree lines behind following Modi River all the way to Machhapuchare base camp at 3,700 m high, located beneath towering Machhapuchare Himal North Face.

After a nice break continue walk that leads you into picturesque Annapurna Sanctuary where Annapurna Base Camp located. From Machhapuchare Base Camp which is the starting point of the sanctuary.

As walk leads higher ground for few hours and then entering into a scenic sanctuary enclosed within amphitheatre of peaks.

After few hours of pleasant walk brings you to our highest point of the adventure at Annapurna base camp above 4,130 m, the highest spot of the adventure.

Afternoon enjoy views of Annapurna I (8,091m / 26,545ft) Annapurna South (7,219m-23,693ft), Gangapurna (7,455m-24,457ft) and Annapurna III (7,555m-24,787ft), including to Mt. Machhapuchare (Fish-tail) at 6,790 m stretches up towards Tent Peak / Tharpu Chuli and Fluted Peaks or Singu Chuli.

Day 11: Trek back to Bamboo 2,310 m - 06 hrs.

After a fantastic time at base camp with super views retrace the journey back on downhill into trees with few short ups to reach at Bamboo for overnight stop.

Day 12: Trek to Jhinu Danda (hot-spring) 1,780 m - 05 hrs.

From Bamboo on leaving Modi River gorge climb leads up to Khuldi-Ghar into forested area, and then a short gradual walk to Sinuwa danda, from here descend to Chomrong River, and then climb on steps to Chomrong for lunch stop.

After Chomrong a short climb to the top ridge and then changing our direction from here with an alternative route to reach Pokhara, a short downhill walk brings at scenic and lovely Jhinu village for overnight stop, located on a ridge top with views of surrounding landscapes and rolling green hills. A short descend of 25 minutes reaches you at hot-spring by the Modi River.

Day 13: Trek to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara - 04 hrs walks and 2 hrs drive.

After a pleasant overnight stop at Jhinu village where morning our last day walk leads downhill on stone steps reaching at Nayapul (New Bridge), from here on pleasant winding trails with few short and up and down to reach at Syali village.

From here walk on gradual trail with few short ups and down, past Bhirethati to reach at Nayapul town for few hour drive back to Pokhara after a great and wonderful time up in the high mountains.

Day 14: Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.

Morning an early drive back to Kathmandu on same interesting highway with exciting moments as drive leads through rural farm villages and towns with views of mountains after six hours journey ending at Kathmandu, and then transfer to your respective hotels.

Day 15: In Kathmandu for individual activities and optional tour.

In Kathmandu reserved this extra day for you to enjoy individual activities and shopping souvenirs or join in another exciting tour around Kathmandu-Patan / Lalitpur and Bhaktapur of great interest.

Day 16: Depart for International flights homeward bound.

Final and last day in Nepal, country of high Himalaya and varied culture, after a memorable experience and great scenic adventure on Poon Hill and Annapurna Base Camp trekking, with your time for international flight our staff transfer you to the airport for homeward bound or to your next port of call and respective destinations.
