Mera Peak Climb rises up at 6,461 m / 21, 907 ft high, as one of the most highest trekking peaks of Nepal Himalaya and the highest within Khumbu and Everest region, leads you to most fascinating areas within Inkhu valley of great scenic views enclosed with mountains of Kusum-Khaguru-Kantenga and other peaks, different to other main side of Khumbu.

A wonderful walks to Mera Peak base camp and towards its high summit where grading system is only F means ‘Facial Easy taken from French and Swiss Alpine Climbing Classification, a peak of less technical effort with straight-forward walk and climb to reach its top, however all climbers requires proper gear, crampons, ice axe with other necessary equipment as listed in our website and programs.

Mera Peal Climb an enjoyable adventure of less than two week frame from Lukla to Lukla, where walks leads away from human settlement and town beyond to complete wilderness of mountains and deep valley to reach our aim and highlight of the adventure after taking a flight in at Lukla from Kathmandu.

Walk leads towards high ridges and into valley covered within forest of rhododendron-birch-oaks-pines and fir tree lines and soon fades away as our direction leads further east around arid and barren country of moraine-ice and boulders of rocks with glacial ponds on route to Mera Peak Base Camp.

After much preparation and exercise during walks to designated camps then ready for the Big Day to reach on top Mera Peak summit offering stunning views of Everest-Amadablam-Baruntse-Makalu and as far to Kanchenjunga range of peaks in eastern horizon.

With hard and strenuous climb and worth the views after a great effort then return back to Lukla on the same trail past Khare-Thagnag and Thuli Kharka to reach in the comfort of nice hotels and lodge at Lukla, where early morning flight brings you to Kathmandu after an everlasting memories and adventure on Mera Peak Climb.

Day 01: Reach Kathmandu 1,345 m and then transfer to respective Hotels

On reaching at Kathmandu international airport received by our representative and guide, then transfer for short drive in the heart of Kathmandu city and to your hotels.

After checking into your pleasant rooms then join in for group briefing regarding Mera Peak Climb, includes useful information to make your stay in Nepal more enjoyable and worth-while with us.

Evening includes group dinner in a nice Nepalese restaurant with cultural programs as entertainment.

Day 02: In Kathmandu sightseeing tour and preparations for Everest base camp trek.

Morning after breakfast in the hotel, our tour guide will take you in the heart of Kathmandu city, for exciting historical and heritage tour of old Durbar (royal palace and courtyard) square of great importance.

Tour includes Temple of Kumari (Living young virgin Goddess) Kastamandap Temple where Kathmandu name derived from, a temple built with the wood of a single tree, tour of old palace during the reign of Malla and late Shah kings.

Afternoon tour of famous Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath and visit Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the largest dome shaped monument in Asia of Buddhist religion and culture.
After an exciting and interesting tour head back to hotel preparation for Mera Peak Climb and next early morning with exciting flight to Lukla around high Khumbu area of Everest.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla 2,820 m with rest of the day free for sidewalks and hike.

Morning transfer to Kathmandu domestic air-terminal for scenic and exciting flight to land at Lukla, a small aircraft either Dornier or Twin-Otter could be similar types where you can witness amazing panorama of snowcapped Himalayan range of peaks with close views of Mt. Everest, as flight lands at Lukla airport known as Tenzing-Hillary airport (after legendry late mountaineers who first stepped on top Mt. Everest in 29th May 1953).

In Lukla with rest of the day free to explore around Lukla market with range of shops and stores with many good restaurants and lodge-hotels, allowing you a day in Lukla to witness local Sherpa culture and custom of Buddhist heritage in this Sherpa town, and the gateway to various adventures around Everest region.

Day 04: Trek to Chuttanga 3,215 m - 05 hrs.

Starting our first day walk of the adventure with gradual walks to begin encountering short downs and ups and then on winding trail past nice farm villages of Sherpa enriched with Buddhism religion, slowly first day walks completes reaching beyond Lukla to remote east of Khumbu around yak grazing field at Chuttanga within lovely woodland of tall rhododendron, magnolia and pine trees with first overnight in tents.

Includes all camping facilities with separate kitchen unit of cook-kitchen staff, climbing guides and strong porters.

Day 05: Trek to Chattre or Thuli Kharka 4,100 m - 06 hrs.

From Chuttanga morning starts with a climb to reach on top Kalo Himal ridge at Nau-Lekh high rocky range, that separates Khumbu and Inkhu valley and beyond further east towards Barun and Makalu area.

With tough uphill reaching high above 4,450 m at Zatrwa Og, walk over to cross Zatrwa-La at 4,600 meters, with views of Dudh Kosi River valley with Karyolung and Lumding Himal, and then descend to camp at Chattre or further to Thuli Kharka around Yak grazing summer pasture area.

Day 06: Trek to Kothe or Mousum Kharka 3,691 m - 06 hrs.

Morning walks on gradual descend facing views of Peak 43 and Kusum Kanguru peaks, then reaching at Inkhu valley, on the least visited by trekkers and adventurer with views of Mera South Face Peak, as walk continues into dense rhododendron and pine trees forest to a grazing area at Kothe or at Mosum Kharka for overnight camp.

Day 07: Trek to Thaknak 4,358 m - 05 hrs.

Adventure leads further north east on leaving tree lines with green vegetation behind, as walk progress to reach a wide open valley around grazing open land with scattered cattle herders shades at Gondishung located above 4,350 m close to our overnight stop at Thaknak.

Gondishung an interesting place with 200 years or older small Gompa (monastery or shrine), from here trek continues for another hour to reach at overnight stop in Thaknak, a temporary settlement with few huts and shades serving as lodge and tea house. A perfect place for overnight stop before heading towards high Mera Peak base camp, this place offers several high hills for best views of surrounding mountains and valley.

Day 08: Trek to Khare at Mera base camp 5,045 m / 16,486 ft -05 hrs.

After Thaknak with pleasant overnight stop, morning leads to moderate walks for few hours and then climb over moraine, damming Charpatti Tal (lake), that leads to a high area lined with rocks and cairns and small glacial lake, from here climb for a while and down downhill walk to Dig Kharka, and over boulder strewn hillside to Khare at Mera Base Camp after a good walk of four to five hours, with afternoon free at leisure.

Day 09: Rest day for acclimatization and practice climb.

At Khare or Mera base camp a free day for proper acclimatization as well practice climb on rocks and snow to add more exercise activities for the long haul and climb on top Mera Peak, one of the highest trekking peaks of Nepal Himalaya.

Day 10: Trek and climb to Mera High Camp 5,780 m / 18,958 ft -04 hrs.

From base camp adding one more camps make climb much safer and approachable, morning walk follows route across Mera la to reach at Mera High Camp around tranquil surrounding, where afternoon free for full preparation for next very early morning climb to the top of Mera Peak.

On this day our expert guide will scout the area of best possible and safe routes to make the climbing much safe by fixing ropes in necessary sections to safe guard from incidental accidents.

Day 11: Climbing day on top Mera Peak Summit at 6,461 m / 21, 907 ft - 08 hrs.

Final day of our adventure, starting early morning before dawn, follow our lead guide with long and steady climb, as Mera Peak of less technical effort, as route leads to straightforward climb, however safety measures are taken as well equipped with crampons, ice axe, helmets including your positive attitude and determination.

After a vigorous climb finally reaching on top Mera Peak summit rewards you with fantastic panorama with Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu, and Mt. Cho- Oyu with views of Mt. Kanchenjunga in the east includes series of peaks. Feeling high and in great spirit descend back to base camp using same route after feeling tired and exhausted but in happy mood after achieving success on Mera peak climb.

Day 12: Trek to Kothey 3,600 m or Mousum Kharka 3,691 m-06 hrs.

After a great glorious climb on top Mera Peak, leaving base camp for return journey with pleasant walks with few ups and downs, and then back into green surrounding within rich vegetations and tall trees on reaching at Khothey for overnight stop, a small cattle herder camp with shelter huts.

Day 13: Trek to Thuli Kharka 4,300 m - 06 hrs.

Morning with great scenic walk after a great climb of Mera peak and then heading closer back to Lukla using the same route to reach back at Thaknak and then beyond with steep climb on hills where walk continues on nice grassy meadow with gradual path to reach our last camp of the trek at Thuli-Kharka.

Day 14: Trek to Lukla via Zatrwa La Pass -07 hrs.

Last walk of the adventure where walk leads over Zatrwa-La within high Kalo and Naulekh Himal rocky ridges, and then a long descend to Chutanga, from here an easy pleasant walks to reach at Lukla for final overnight stop around high scenic Khumbu within Everest region.

Day 15: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel with free afternoon.

Early morning get transferred to Lukla Tenzing and Hillary airport for short scenic flight back to Kathmandu overlooking mountain panorama with green hill landscapes as flight reaches at Kathmandu airport and then transfer back to your hotel, with free afternoon at leisure.

Day 16: Free and contingency day in Kathmandu and for individual activities.

Reserved as free and or contingency day,in case of flight delay and cancellationin Lukla in case of Himalayan unfavorable and unpredictable bad weather that might happen sometimes.

Day 17: Depart for International flights homeward bound.

Final and last day in Nepal, country of high Himalaya and varied culture, after a memorable experience and great adventure of a lifetime on Mera Peak Climb, as per time for international flight our staff transfer you to the airport for  homeward bound or to your next port of call and respective destinations.
