A great short adventure of a week duration which allows you to explore the hidden pockets of Annapurna areas on least visited and explored by main flow of trekkers, as this route is exclusive and less known to other adventurer and trekkers. Mardi Himal a small trekking peaks at an altitude above 5,587 m high which is actually a broken South Western Ridge of towering Machhapuchare Himal known famously as Fish Tail due to its twin summit stands at 6,993 m high, one of the few virgin unclimbed peaks in Himalaya. Mardi Himal Trekking, an enjoyable walks away from villages for some days in the harmony of pristine forested surrounding where you can feel clean and fresh mountain air to breathe, along with fantastic panorama of snow-capped peaks. Walk leads from popular and scenic Pokhara, a city blessed with natural wonders of mountains and lakes where trek starts to reach the mid green hills dotted with farm villages and nice terraced fields.

As walk progress through lovely Gurung villages of Dhampus and Potana along with excellent panorama of Annapurna-Manaslu and Machhapuchare Himal then are reaching last settlement at Deurali, where adventure enters into pristine and serene woodland of tall rhododendron, oaks, and magnolia with pine trees. Finally adventure reach our high destination at Mardi Himal base camp above 4,500 m beneath majestic Machhapuchare and Mardi Himal with spectacular scenery of mountains and then heading back on different route to reach at lovely city at Pokhara by the Phewa Lake side. Day 01: Reach Kathmandu 1,345 m and then transfer to respective Hotel

Day 02: In Kathmandu sightseeing tour and preparations for the trek.

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara 860 m with overnight in Pokhara by the Phewa Lake.

Day 04: Drive to Dhampus Phedi and trek to Deurali- 2,100 m via Potana 1,900 m 4 hrs walks and less than 2 hrs drives.

Day 05: Trek to Kokar Forest camp 2,520 m - 05 hrs.

Day 06: Trek to Low Camp 2,970 m - 05 hrs.

Day 07: Trek to High Camp 3,700 m - 05 hrs.

Day 08: Free day at High Camp for hike to Mardi Himal base camp at 4,500 m.

Day 09: Trek to Siding village 1,750m - 06 hrs.

Day 10: Trek to Mardipul 910 m and drive back to Pokhara with afternoon free.

Day 11: Drive or fly to Kathmandu and then transfer to your hotels - 06 hrs

Day 01: Reach Kathmandu 1,345 m and then transfer to respective Hotels

On reaching at Kathmandu international airport received by our representative and guide, then transfer for short drive in the heart of Kathmandu city and to your hotels. After checking into your pleasant rooms then join in for group briefing regarding Mardi Himal treks with other useful information to make your stay in Nepal with us more enjoyable and worth-while. Evening includes group dinner in a nice Nepalese restaurant with cultural programs as entertainment.

Day 02: In Kathmandu sightseeing tour and preparations for Mardi Himal trek.

Morning after breakfast in the hotel, our tour guide will take you in the heart of Kathmandu city, for exciting historical and heritage tour of old Durbar (royal palace and courtyard) square of great importance. Tour includes Temple of Kumari (Living young virgin Goddess) Kastamandap Temple where Kathmandu name derived from, a temple built with the wood of a single tree, tour of old palace during the reign of Malla and late Shah kings. Afternoon tour of famous Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath and visit Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the largest dome shaped monument in Asia of Buddhist religion and culture. After an exciting and interesting tour head back to hotel preparation for trek to Mardi Himal Trekking next early morning with exciting drive to Nepal Mid-West.

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara 860m (220 k.m) - 06 hrs journey.

Morning exciting drive to Nepal Mid West at Pokhara where journey leads on Nepal most busy and interesting highway, where drive leads for near six hours to reach Pokhara, and then transfer to respective hotels by the Phewa Lake. Afternoon with time for short walks around the lakeside full of good restaurants-shops- and stores with excellent hotels.

Day 04: Drive to Dhampus Phedi and trek to Deurali 2,100 m via Potana 1,900 m - 04 hrs walks with less than 2 hrs drives.

After a wonderful stop at scenic and beautiful Pokhara facing views of Annapurna Himal and Machhapuchare peaks 'Fish Tail', after breakfast heading beyond Pokhara valley to start our first day walk. Drive leads along with grand views of Annapurna past farm villages and towns and then following paddy fields and farm village to reach bottom of a hill at Dhampus Phedi, where climb leads with views of Annapurna mountain range, as walk continues on slow winding trail with uphill to reach at a large Gurung village at Dhampus. Dhampus offers wide panorama of Annapurna-Manaslu with views of Dhaulagiri peaks includes Majestic Mt. Machhapuchare ‘Fish Tail’, after a refreshing stop walk on high ridges into forested areas with slow climb to Potana village. From Potana on winding uphill path into serene woodland of tall rhododendron and pine trees
to reach our first overnight stop at Deurali located on a hill top above 2,100 m high with some few nice lodges to stay. Deurali offers incredible views of Annapurna and Manaslu mountains with Dhaulagiri Himal, rest of the afternoon at leisure and enjoy the views.

Day 05: Trek to Kokar Forest Camp 2,520m - 05 hrs.

After a pleasant overnight stop at Deuarli small settlement having fabulous views, morning walk starts with super views of landscapes and snow-clad peaks. After Deurali heading north along the ridgeline into serene forested area with cool temperature with panorama of Annapurna I and South with Huinchuli to the east Annapurna IV -II and Lamjung Himal and then reaching our overnight stop in the middle of forest where few lodges are located for trekkers.

Day 06: Trek to Low Camp 2,970 m - 04 hrs.

From this forest area, walk leads higher on uphill path with steep climb to reach a pasture land for overnight stop on route Mardi base camp with fantastic views of surrounding landscapes and mountains at close range.

Day 07: Trek to High camp 3, 700 m - 05 hrs.

This wonderful area offering grand vista of beautiful landscapes and snow-clad peaks in perfect tranquility heading higher to reach at High Camp as the air gets thinner and cooler with steep climb to reach at High Camp where tree lines fades to short rhododendron and juniper bushes. Here at High Camp with a lonely lodge for overnight accommodation with basic facilities commanding super views of Annapurna Himalaya.

Day 08: Explore beyond High Camp to Mardi Base Camp 4,500m.

Morning taking a short scenic hike from High Camp to explore around Mardi Base Camp located at the height above 4,500 meters. Walk leads to a steep climb along ridgeline to reach a small hidden plateau which is base of Mardi Himal with towering South Face of Mt. Machhapuchare; the area around known as 'Other Sanctuary' named by pioneer Jimmy Roberts, when he first visited the area in early 1970's. After enjoying views of high and scenic panorama of mountains return back on same route to High Camp for last overnight stop in the high hills of Mardi and Annapurna Himalaya.

Day 09: Trek to Siding village 1,750 m - 06 hrs.

After a fantastic time on the high hills and ridges of Mardi Himal with grand views, where walk leads downhill back into forest of rhododendron and pines trees, retracing journey back on at Jungle Camp. From here with more descend to reach at Sidang village located on the bottom of Mardi Hill within warmer area for overnight stop before ending this lovely trek next day.

Day 10: From walk to Mardi Pul 910 m and drive back to Pokhara - 05 hrs.

Morning catching fantastic views of snow clad peaks, our last day walk leads to a short distance of few hours to Mardi Pul with views of mountains, on reaching at the road head on the outskirt of Pokhara, where our walk ends taking a short drive back to picturesque Pokhara by the serene Phewa Lake for last overnight stop around Annapurna region.

Day 11: Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.

Morning an early drive back to Kathmandu on same interesting highway with exciting Moment, as drive leads through rural farm villages and towns with views of mountains after six hours journey ending at Kathmandu, and then transfer to your respective hotels.

Day 12: Depart for International flights homeward bound.

Final and last day in Nepal, country of high Himalaya and varied culture, after a memorable experience and great scenic adventure on Mardi Himal trekking, with time for international flight our staff transfer you to the airport for homeward bound or to your next port of call and respective destinations.
