ANNAPURNA POON HILL PANORAMA TREKKING

Annapurna and Poon Hill Panorama Trekking, leads you to scenic and charming adventure of less than week duration. Where all types of travelers can fit in to enjoy the beauty of rhododendron (national flower of Nepal), magnolia and pine tree lines woodland with mountain views. Where on this planet one can get so close to mountains, unimaginable to know that you can witness the unique scenery of world three highest mountains at one look with striking sunrise views from high beautiful Poon hill, located above 3,210 m the highest point of the trek. Besides it spectacular views and scenery of dramatic landscapes and mountains where you will be walking into serene woodland and within nice lovely mountain villages inhabited by Gurung and Poon-Magar people the hill tribe of Annapurna Himalaya.
The Hill tribes of Western Nepal known as Gorkha renowned and brave soldiers in British and Indian army and other countries like Singapore and Brunei also, besides being on foreign legion they are farmers and cattle herders as way of living. Annapurna and Poon Hill Panorama Trekking commence with exciting interesting drive from the capital Kathmandu to reach beautiful Pokhara city within picturesque valley surrounded by hills and Annapurna Himalaya with magnificent Machhapuchare Himal ‘Fish Tail that reflects on its calm Phewa and Begnas Lakes. Walk begins with short drive and then uphill to green woodland with daily awesome views of peaks to reach at Ghorepani and Poon Hill for alluring panorama of peaks with fabulous sunrise and then heading back to Pokhara taking an alternative scenic route. On reaching lovely and renowned touristic Pokhara where drive leads you back to Kathmandu with timeless memories and enjoyable time in Annapurna and Poon Hill Panorama Trekking.
Day 01: Reach Kathmandu 1,345 m and then transfer to respective Hotels
Day 02: In Kathmandu sightseeing tour and preparations for the trek.
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara with overnight in Pokhara.
Day 04: Drive to Bhirethati and trek to Ulleri 1,670 m via Tirkhedhunga 1,435 m - 02 hrs drive / 04 hrs walk.
Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani 2,840 m - 04 hrs
Day 06: Morning Hike to Poon Hill 3,210 m and trek to Tadapani 2,700 m -05 hrs.
Day 07: Trek to Ghandruk 1,960 m - 04 hrs.
Day 08: Trek to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara - 04 hrs walks and 2 hrs drive.
Day 09: Drive to Kathmandu and then transfer to your hotels - 07 hrs.

Day 01: Reach Kathmandu 1,345 m and then transfer to respective Hotels
On reaching at Kathmandu international airport received by our representative and guide, then transfer for short drive in the heart of Kathmandu city and to your hotels. After checking into your pleasant rooms then join in for group briefing regarding Annapurna Poon Hill Panorama treks with other useful information to make your stay in Nepal with us more enjoyable and worth-while. Evening includes group dinner in a nice Nepalese restaurant with cultural programs as entertainment.
Day 02: In Kathmandu sightseeing tour and preparations for Manaslu trek.
Morning after breakfast in the hotel, our tour guide will take you in the heart of Kathmandu city, for exciting historical and heritage tour of old Durbar (royal palace and courtyard) square of great importance. Tour includes Temple of Kumari (Living young virgin Goddess) Kastamandap Temple where Kathmandu name derived from, a temple built with the wood of a single tree, tour of old palace during the reign of Malla and late Shah kings. As tour continues towards famed landmark of Nepal at Swayambhunath Stupa of more than 2,500 years old a Buddhist Chaitya or Stupa, facing all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha, as tour continues towards famed landmark of Nepal at Swayambhunath Stupa of more than 2,500 years old a Buddhist Chaitya or Stupa, facing all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha.
Afternoon tour of famous Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath and visit Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the largest dome shaped monument in Asia of Buddhist religion and culture.
After an exciting and interesting tour head back to hotel preparation for trek to Annapurna Poon Hill Panorama next early morning with exciting drive to Nepal Mid-West.
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara 820m (220 k.m) - 06 hrs journey.
Morning exciting drive to Nepal Mid West at Pokhara where journey leads on Nepal most busy and interesting highway, where drive leads for near six hours to reach Pokhara, and then transfer to respective hotels by the Phewa Lake. Afternoon with time for short walks around the lakeside full of good restaurants-shops-
and stores with excellent hotels.

Day 04: Drive to Bhirethati and trek to Ulleri 1,670 m via Tirkhedhunga 1,435 m - 02 hrs, drive / 04 hrs walk.
After a wonderful stop at scenic and beautiful Pokhara facing views of Annapurna Himal and Machhapuchare peaks 'Fish Tail', after breakfast heading beyond Pokhara valley to start our first day walk. Drive leads along with grand views of Annapurna past farm villages and towns and then following Modi River upstream to reach at Bhirethati one of the charming village within Annapurna region, from here our first day starts on slow winding trail with uphill to Hille and then at Tirkhedhunga overlooking cascading waterfalls. From here walk starts with a climb on nice paved stone steps to reach at Ulleri a large and typical Hill village, inhabited mostly by Gurung tribes with thatched and slated roofs offering views of Machhapuchare Himal with Annapurna South and Huinchuli peaks.
Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani 2,840 m - 05 hrs.
From here on gradual winding up trail to reach at Ghorepani as walk leads into lovely alpine woodland of rhododendron and pine trees. After a great pleasant walk reaching at Ghorepani for next morning hike to Poon Hill, Ghorepani home of Poon people of Magar origin tribe, an ethnic hill tribes of Nepal famous as Gorkha soldiers in UK-India and other foreign countries. This village with many good lodges offers marvelous views of Dhaulagiri-Tukuche-Nilgiri’s and Annapurna Himalayan mountains.
Day 06: Morning Hike to Poon Hill 3,210 m and trek to Tadapani 2,700 m - 05 hrs.
Early morning before breakfast, hike up for an hour on top scenic Poon Hill at above 3,210 m our highest spot of this wonderful trekking. From Poon Hill catch striking sunrise views of panorama of mountains which includes Dhaulagiri-Tukuche-Nilgiri’s-Annapurna Fang (Vara Shikar) Annapurna range of peaks with majestic Machhapuchare Himal 'Fish Tail' the unclimbed and virgin peaks of Himalaya. View includes Mt. Manaslu with Lamjung extending towards Ganesh Himal due east horizon, after a marvelous photo session head back to Ghorepani for breakfast and carry on trekking uphill into beautiful woods of rhododendron trees with views of mountains. Finally as walk leads to descend and then up at Tadapani within forested areas with grand views of Annapurna Himalaya.
Day 07: Trek to Ghandruk 1,960 m - 04 hrs.
After a pleasant overnight stop at Tadapani where morning walk leads downhill into cool serene forested areas for sometimes to reach at a small settlement of Bhainse Kharka (Buffalo grazing pasture) with few shops and lodge. From descend crossing small streams with green vegetation and woodland then reaching an open farm areas on the outskirt of high Ghandruk village. A slow downhill reaches you at main Ghandruk village for lunch and overnight stop, with afternoon free to explore this nice and attractive Gurung village, one of the largest in Annapurna area.
Day 08: Trek to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara - 04 hrs walks and 2 hrs drive.
After a pleasant overnight stop at Ghandruk, our last day walk leads downhill on stone steps reaching at Nayapul (New Bridge), from here on pleasant winding trails with few short and up and down to reach at Syali village. From here walk on gradual trail with few short ups and down, past Bhirethati to reach at Nayapul town for few hours drive back to Pokhara after a great and wonderful time up in the high mountains.
Day 09: Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.
Morning an early drive back to Kathmandu on same interesting highway with exciting moments as drive leads through rural farm villages and towns with views of mountains after six hours journey ending at Kathmandu, and then transfer to your respective hotels.

Day 10: In Kathmandu for individual activities and optional tour.
In Kathmandu reserved this extra day for you to enjoy individual activities and shopping souvenirs or join in another exciting tour around Kathmandu-Patan / Lalitpur and Bhaktapur of great interest.
Day 11: Depart for International flights homeward bound.
Final and last day in Nepal, country of high Himalaya and varied culture, after a memorable experience and great scenic adventure on Annapurna Poon Hill Panorama trekking, with your time for international flight our staff transfer you to the airport for homeward bound or to your next port of call and respective destinations.
