Kailash an impressive dome of a mountain rise above 6,714 m and 22,028ft high a holy spot for four great religions Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and ancient Bon sect of pre-Buddhism, that makes this mountain very special and worth a visit in your lifetime experience with true faith in respect of Mt. Kailash and sacred huge Manasrover Lake.

An amazing to know that four great river systems within Indian continent start from the glacier of Mt. Kailash feeding Karnali-Brahmaputra (Yarlung Tsangpo), Sutlej and Yamuna Rivers, a perfect mountain that draws thousands of pilgrims every year in good season of times.

Holy Mt. Kailash Journey begins with familiarization tour in Kathmandu at places of great interest and then taking a scenic and exciting drive to reach the border town at Kyirong the frontier of Nepal and Tibet-China.

On entering within Tibetan soil where drive starts on vast great plateau with grand views of high snow-capped peak rang that borders Nepal and Tibet as our route takes past several town and villages within Yak grazing country to reach at sacred Lake Manasrover with time to enjoy the views of the surrounding as well to support acclimatization.

From Manasrover drive leads to start our walks around holy Mt. Kailash where in Tibetan calls Kora, and in Hindu known as Parikrama, where route leads to fascinating views of all beautiful face of Mt. Kailash to reach a high spot at Dorma-la, a holy place and a top above 5, 470 m high.

After a great close views of Mt, Kailash  North Face heading to Lamchu valley to reach at the road-head after walking past Zutul-Puk, where drive takes you back on the road to reach at Tibet and Nepal border at Kyirong.

On completing our amazing adventurous journeys where drive leads you back to Kathmandu via high Langtang Himal region of Rasuwa district after a great remarkable and outmost experience on Holy Mt. Kailash Journey.

Day 01: Reach Kathmandu 1,345 m and then transfer to respective Hotels

Day 02: In Kathmandu sightseeing tour and preparations for the trek.

Day 03: Drive to Syabrubesi 1,470 m from Kathmandu via Dhunche town 1,950 - 06 hrs.

Day 04: Drive to Kyirong 2,890 m (Kyidrong / Dzonga) in local Guesthouse - 04 hrs.

Day 05: At Kyirong acclimatization day and explore Tibetan culture and custom.   

Day 06: Drive to Saga 4,400m - 05 hrs.

Day 07: Drive to Paryang 4,550 m - 05 hrs.

Day 08: Drive to East of Lake Manasrover at Horpa 4,550 m - 05 hrs

Day 09: At Manasrover Lake for acclimatization and rest day.

Day 10: Drive to Tarboche near Darchen 4,600m walk to Dhiraphuk 4,900 m - 05 hrs.

Day 11: Trek to Zutul-Puk 4,760 m via Dorma-la 5, 470 m - 06 hrs.

Day 12: Trek near Darchen drive to Paryang- 03 hrs walk and 4 hrs ride.

Day 13: Drive back to Kyirong 2,890 m via Saga - 06 hrs.

Day 14: Drive to Dhunche town 1,950 m - 04 hrs.

Day 15: Drive to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel - 05 hrs.

Day 16: International departure for homeward bound.

Day 01: Reach Kathmandu 1,345 m and then transfer to respective Hotels

On reaching at Kathmandu international airport received by our representative and guide, then transfer for short drive in the heart of Kathmandu city and to your hotels.

After checking into your pleasant rooms then join in for group briefing regarding Holy Mt. Kailash Journey with other useful information to make your stay in Nepal and Tibet with more enjoyable and worth-while with us.

Evening includes group dinner in a nice Nepalese restaurant with cultural programs as entertainment.

Day 02: In Kathmandu sightseeing tour and preparations for Tibet trips.

Morning after breakfast in the hotel, our tour guide will take you in the heart of Kathmandu city, for exciting historical and heritage tour of old Durbar (royal palace and courtyard) square of great importance.

Tour includes Temple of Kumari (Living young virgin Goddess) Kastamandap Temple where Kathmandu name derived from, a temple built with the wood of a single tree, tour of old palace during the reign of Malla and late Shah kings.

Afternoon tour of famous Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath and visit Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the largest dome shaped monument in Asia of Buddhist religion and culture, after an exciting and interesting tour head back to hotel preparation for Holy Mt. Kailash Journey.

Day 03: Drive to Syabrubesi 1,470 m from Kathmandu via Dhunche town 1,950 - 06 hrs.

Morning starts with an interesting overland journey heading towards North-West on the highway to Langtang Himal, to reach Dhunche the headquarter town of Rasuwa district around Langtang, as drive leads past to Syabrubesi village to end the long exciting drive.

Day 04: Drive to Kyirong 2,890 m (Kyidrong / Dzonga) County in local Guesthouse.

From here on getting ready to enter into Tibet as morning drive leads away from Syabrubesi on newly built road but on old Trans-Himalayan Trade Route linking Nepal and Tibet to reach at Rasuwa-Gadhi located above 1,800 m which is 15 km with few hour drive from Syabrubesi, on reaching the frontier received by our Tibetan counterpart guide and drivers, after completing immigration & custom formalities on both side of the frontier Nepal / Tibet at Rasuwa-Gadhi, continue drive further to Kyirong county with first overnight stop in Tibet accommodation at local guest-house.

At Kyirong afternoon with time to relax and enjoy views of Ganesh and Langtang Himal that borders Nepal and Tibet.

Day 05: At Kyirong acclimatization day and explore Tibetan culture and custom.     

At Kyirong within Tibet rest day for acclimatization and familiarization with Tibet culture and altitude, taking short walks around its villages and witness interesting Buddhist culture and custom of Tibetans with views of Ganesh and Langtang Northern Face.

Day 06: Drive to Drive to Saga 4,400 m -5 hrs.

Morning after breakfast drive continues on the wide vast Tibetan windswept plateau past few high passes with great views of mountain range, as the drive continues with some small stop with villages and nomads camps where you can view sheep’s and yak grazing.

Our journey heads towards remote corners of Tibet past many farm villages finally drive through a bridge over Yalung Tsangpo (Brahmaputra) River which flows from the source at Mt. Kailash.

Saga a growing town into city with several lodge, hotels and restaurants, on arrival check into the best available hotels or guest houses.

Day 07: Drive to Paryang 4,550 m. - 05 hrs.

Starting morning drive which takes us past Saga town within complete wilderness, after few hours’ drive the road winds and climbs to a pass of about 4,900 m and then descends to a long stretch flat area, on a clear day great views of the distant snow capped peaks towards North West Nepal, after few hours of scenic drive then reaching a windswept village at Paryang for overnight stop.

Day 08: Drive to east Manasrover Lake at Horpa 4,550 m - 05 hrs.

Today's drive leads to more barren, arid landscapes with few stops and through many small farm villages and nomads camps with large Tibetan tents serving as teahouses and restaurants, drive continues on this vast flat land and then climbing up to the pass at Mayam-la at 5,050 m the road meanders to a long ascend the road gains altitude rapidly at first, then levels crossing the barren base below the pass and with a gradual drive of few hours reaches at the shore of Lake Manasrover for the overnight stop.

Day 09: At Manasrover acclimatization and rest day.

Another rest day for acclimatization at holy Lake Manasrover, located in West Tibet between Mt. Kailash 6,714 meters and Gurla Mandhata Mountain Range stands at 7,694 meters.

The Lake Manasrover floats beneath the shadow of holy Kailash as the lake formed in the mind of God. 

In Buddhist-Hindu-Jain religion, this is the holiest lake of Asia; the best time to go around Lake Manasrover is in late autumn and early spring when the streams and rivers are low. It is then possible to walk very near the shoreline, an optional drive around Manasrover Lake can be done on request which takes about four hours.

Day 10: Drive to Tarboche trek to Dhirapuk 5,010 m - 05 hrs.

After a rest day, morning starts with a short drive on the Barkha windswept valley to near Darchen town,which is a busy place with bazaar, during auspicious time this place is flooded with Tibetan and Indian pilgrims for kora, parikrama or holy circuit walks.

Our journey continues further from Darchen town to Tarboche, one of the holy spot of this region with views of West Face of Mt. Kailash, from here our holy walk begins leading north on the wide arid terrain to Shershong, and with gradual climb and pleasant walk reaches to our overnight stop at Dhiraphuk Gompa, with magnificent view of holy Mt. Kailash North Face. Here depending upon the season with pilgrim’s crowd either in guest houses or tents with our camping.

Day 11: Trek to Zutul-Puk 4,790 m - 06 hours.

From Dhiraphuk with the highest camping of this trip, morning walk continues on the uphill trail onto moraine for more than two hours, then with a steep climb at Dromo-la at 5,630m /18,525ft the highest point of this awesome journey, here a big boulder represents the goddess Dolma or Dromo (Tara) festooned with thousands of prayer flags and ritual offering by both Hindu’s and Buddhist pilgrims.

This holy spot as well a physical and spiritual high point for the pilgrimage or kora, after a nice break here walk leads to descend towards a wide valley a flat area, on reaching the bottom of Dromo -la pass then the walk is pleasant reaching at Zutul-Puk Gompa for overnight stop.

Zuthul means cave in Tibetan, this place is named after a holy cave in which poet, and saint Milareppa meditate in the early 11th century, his footprints can be seen on the cave roof top.

Day 12: Trek near Darchen drive to Paryang- 03 hrs walk and 4 hrs ride.

Today last day of holy walk around Mt. Kailash, where morning walk takes you on nice gradual trail for some hours to reach a narrow valley and a gorge of great Karnali River, from here our walk heads west to near Darchen to end our holy walk, from here taking a drive past Mayum-la pass and the continue drive to reach at windswept town to Paryang for overnight stop.

Day 13: Drive back to Kyirong 2,890 m via Saga - 06 hrs.

Morning drive leads near snow capped mountains that borders Nepal and Tibet, a great scenic drive to reach at Saga town, after a refreshing stop continue drive to Kyirong frontier town, journey leads past great Tibetan dry plateau taking a newly opened route of five hours overland drive to reach the border town of Tibet-China and Nepal at Kyirong for last overnight stop in Tibet.

Day 14: Drive to Dhunche town 1,900 m - 05 hrs.

Bidding farewell to Tibetan guides and drivers, morning departing from Tibet taking a short drive to border post of Nepal and Tibet / China at Rasuwa-Gadhi, here after completing visa and custom formalities then enter into Nepal border at Rasuwa Gadhi.

On crossing Nepal drive leads on rough dirt road for a while to reach Syabrubesi village, after a short refreshing break journey continues on winding uphill to reach at Dhunche town for overnight stop.

Day 15: Drive to Kathmandu - 05 hrs with free afternoon at leisure.

On completing our great experience within Tibet where morning heads downhill to lower altitude with warmer country past farm villages and towns to reach at Kathmandu, with free afternoon with great memories of Kailash journey.

Day 16: Depart for International flights homeward bound.

Final and last day in Nepal, country of high Himalaya and varied culture, after a memorable experience and great cultural times in Holy Mt. Kailash Journey, with time for international flight our staff transfer you to the airport for  homeward bound or to your next port of call and respective destinations.
