Starts with enjoyable drive into Nepal Mid-West around Lamjung district at Besisar the headquarter town of the area, where walk follows raging Marysangdi River upstream right up to its source at high Manang valley.

Walking into high hills covered in tall rhododendron-pines forest with time to taste local culture around lovely village of Jagat-Tal-Dharapani, Chame town and at Pisang all these areas of strong Buddhism religion and culture exploring its villages of age-old heritage and monasteries.

After much time to get acclimatize and preparations ready for the big haul and climb to the summit of high Pisang Peak top, where the grade comes from French and Swiss Alpine Climbing Classification Systems as PD + means ‘Per Difficule’, a straight forward climb with some technical effort required in some sections of the climb.

Following our lead and expert guide on top Pisang Peak rewarded with amazing views of mountains and of whole Manang valley, and then heading towards main Manang village of great interest, as walk follows at the end of valley with tough climb to reach on top Thorang-la pass to reach at Mustang and Kaligandaki River valley in holy Muktinath and Jomsom town.

Having great enjoyable moment visiting holy Muktinath temple and its premises heading towards Jomsom, a headquarter town of Mustang area where a short scenic flight takes you to beautiful and charming city at Pokhara by its serene Phewa Lake with views of massive Annapurna Himalaya.

Day 01: Reach Kathmandu 1,345 m and then transfer to respective Hotels

On reaching at Kathmandu international airport received by our representative and guide, then transfer for short drive in the heart of Kathmandu city and to your hotels.

After checking into your pleasant rooms then join in for group briefing regarding Pisang Peak Climb Adventure with other useful information to make your stay in Nepal with us more enjoyable and worth-while.

Day 02: In Kathmandu sightseeing tour and preparations for Annapurna Circuit trek.

Morning after breakfast in the hotel, our tour guide will take you in the heart of Kathmandu city, for exciting historical and heritage tour of old Durbar (royal palace and courtyard) square of great importance.

Tour includes Temple of Kumari (Living young virgin Goddess) Kastamandap Temple where Kathmandu name derived from, a temple built with the wood of a single tree, tour of old palace during the reign of Malla and late Shah kings.

Afternoon tour of famous Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath and visit Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the largest dome shaped monument in Asia of Buddhist religion and culture.

After an exciting and interesting tour head back to hotel preparation for Chulu East Peak Climbing Adventure where next early morning takes you on exciting drive to Nepal Mid-West.

Day 03: Drive to Besisar 800 m and to Khudi 930 m - 06 hrs.

Starting wonderful adventure for Chulu East climb with an interesting long drive towards north mid west from Kathmandu, leading past Besisar town (headquarter of Lamjung district). From here transfer to another vehicle for the rough and exciting drive on dirt trail to Khudi village.

A nice village located by the Marysangdi River with sub-tropical temperature with time here to browse around the village market or dip in the river around shallow side of the raging fast flowing river.

Day 04: Trek to Jagat 1,290 m via Syange 1,100m - 06 hrs.

From Khudi our first day walk begins heading towards farm areas past Bulbule and Ngadi following Marysangdi River upstream to reach at Syange village, and then leaving the river behind with climb to Jagat village for overnight stop in a nice lodge, Jagat a small farm village with few good lodges for trekkers.

Day 05: Trek to Dharapani 1,920 m - 05 hours.

From Jagat morning walk starts on winding path to Chamje, and towards Marysangdi River, and into forested area with super views of Annapurna and Manaslu range, walk continues reaching at Tal village located on a nice valley, after Tal Besi few hours walk to Dharapani village for overnight stop.

Dharapani a nice village with Buddhist culture, situated on the junction of Annapurna circuit and Manaslu trekking trail.

Day 06: Trek to Chame 2,670 m - 05 hours.

Starting our morning as walk leads into cool rhododendron and pine forest past villages of Bagachap and Danque, and then climb up to Timang village.

From here onward entering into more Buddhist cultural areas, with super view of Mt. Manaslu 8,163m / 26,781ft, after Timang few hours trek leads to a large town at Chame for overnight stop, a major town and headquarter of Manang district.

Day 07: Trek to Pisang 3, 230 m - 05 hrs.

From here on air gets cooler as walk gets closer to mountain views within serene cool shade of alpine forest with rhododendron and pine trees, following Masrsyangdi River upstream to Bhratang village.

From this village an uphill into pine trees to Dhukure Pokhari, a small place with few lodge and views of Chulu and Pisang peak, after a lunch stop walk downhill to Pisang village for overnight stop. Pisang village located within Manang valley with stunning mountains views as altitude gains for here onwards.

Day 08: Rest day in Pisang village for acclimatization and short hike.

At Pisang village, a full day necessary rest day for acclimatization before heading higher elevation as well for adventurous climb on top Pisang peak, here enjoy views with optional hike around upper Pisang village and its monastery of great interest along with glorious views of Annapurna and Chulus peaks with towering Pisang Peak.

Day 09: Trek to Pisang Peak Base Camp at 4,385 m - 04 hrs.

From Pisang village follow high trails to reach at Upper Pisang and its monastery area overlooking great views of surrounding peaks, as walk leads into remote areas where trails get faint and vague, on this least visited region then with steep climb to reach at the very bottom of Pisang Peak at 4,385 m high to set our base camp.

At base camp offers you mind-blowing scenery of whole Manang valley encircled by array of peaks all the way towards east and west horizon.

Day 10: Rest day at Base Camp preparation and acclimatization.

At base camp a free day for proper acclimatization and as well to scout the routes for accessible and safe climb to the summit of Pisang Peak, with rest of the afternoon rest and preparation for next early morning big adventurous climb.

Here our guide will scout area for safe accessible route to reach the summit, fixing ropes and making ice ledges where necessary, Base Camp situated on a long ridge of Pisang Peak, under some conditions this area may be under snow, afternoon free to sort the gear with preparation for the climb.

Day 11: Climb Pisang Peak and return to base camp.

Our major aim and highlight of the adventure, start at dawn as climb leads over moraine and rubble of ice falls, following lead guide to reach high above on well defined ridge towards last snow slope, leading quite steeply without any difficulty but with some technical sections and then climb all the way to Pisang summit with great help and support of our expert guide.

On reaching at the summit top having rest to admire beautiful panorama of whole Annapurna Mountains and of Chulus with Damodar peaks includes view of Manaslu towards east horizon.

After being on top and highest spot at 6,091 m / 19,984 ft high, descent is made on the same route to base camp, as time permits and possible with physical strength after the climb descend all the way to base camp.

Day 12: Trek to Manang Village 3,450 m - 07 hrs.

After a great climb on Pisang Peak, feeling high after the conquest of Nepal striking looking peaks, morning walk leads back to Pisang village and on route to main Manang village.

Morning on gradual walk through farm fields with short uphill overlooking views of Annapurna II and III, Gangapurna Chulus and Pisang peak, walk downhill to reach a flat valley at Hongde village, from here onward tree lines fades for barren, arid landscapes with cold, dry arctic climate.

Before Manang, visit old Braga monastery with old Buddhist relics, ancient wall painting and frescos and stunning views of Annapurna Himalaya, from here an hour walk reaches at Manang village, where houses are of traditional Tibetan style with similar culture and traditions.

Day 13: Trek to Yak Kharka 4,110 m - 04 hours.

After Manang, walk towards Yak Kharka, an interesting high altitude walk with views of mountains, crossing small streams to reach at Yak Kharka, a small settlement with incredible views of Gangapurna, Annapurna III and Chulu Peaks.

Day 14: Trek to Thorang High Camp 4,600 m - 04 hrs.

Morning walk leads closer to Thorang-la as walk progress crossing a bridge and then a climb along the Jarjung River, then leading at Thorang Phedi for short rest and then climb the last hour uphill to Thorang High Camp for overnight stop.

Day 15: Cross Thorang-La 5,416 m and to Muktinath 3,800 m - 06 hrs.

Starting early morning for the Big Day! To reach the highest point of the adventure and highlight, after breakfast a long climb leads to Thorang-la with some steep haul to reach at 5,416 m / 17,700 ft on top Thorang-la festooned with thousands of Buddhist colorful prayer flags.

Thorang-La Pass rewards you with super vista of landscapes and snowcapped peaks, from here a long descend to Muktinath at 3,800 m.

Muktinath a holy place for both Hindu and Buddhist the word Muktinath literally means ‘the place for Nirvana or Liberation’.

Day 16: Drive Jomsom 2, 715 m -02 hrs with free afternoon.

After Muktinath, rest of the journey is easier where trekking completes taking a short drive to with big drop of 1,200m downhill to Kaligandaki river valley to Jomsom headquarter town of Mustang area with a small airstrip above Kaligandaki River.  Afternoon enjoy walks around this charming town with white painted houses, paved streets and well kept lodges. At Jomsom celebrate with local apple products cider, brandy and juice this area from Kagbeni to Larjung is famous for delicious apples.

Day 17: Fly to Pokhara 860m of 22 mins flights with afternoon free.

Early morning transfer to Jomsom air terminal for short flight to scenic Pokhara, during air with super views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna range of mountains till plane lands at warm valley in beautiful Pokhara, where hotels are located by its serene Phewa Lake with wonderful views of Annapurna and towering peaks Machhapuchare Himal known as Fish Tail.

Day 18: Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.

Morning an early drive back to Kathmandu on same interesting highway with exciting moments as drive leads through rural farm villages and towns with views of mountains after six hours journey ending at Kathmandu, and then transfer to your respective hotels.

Day 19: In Kathmandu with full day rest and options for sightseeing tour.

Enjoy full day rest in Kathmandu after an awesome journey and adventure of a lifetime around high Manang valley and climb of towering Pisang peak, with options for another exciting sight-seeing tour around beautiful places of Patan and Bhaktapur or other interesting hidden areas within Kathmandu. 

Day 20: Depart for International flights homeward bound.
