01: When do we book a trip in Himalaya?
After reading and studying the nature of our varied programs set in our home-page / websites where one can book easily with us in the address provided or by e-mail, with 25 % advance payment to book your place for chosen treks or tours.
On choosing duration and grade of the holidays please let us know at least a month before trek or other trip departure dates.
02: What grade of hotel provided in Kathmandu or in other cities of Nepal?
Depends upon itinerary if it involves other cities beside Kathmandu like Pokhara, Nepalgunj or in Lumbini and Chitwan including tourist destinations, on normal booking we reserve and place you with excellent accommodation of Tourist Standard or up to Three Stars Hotels.
But if one needs to upgrade the standard of hotel, we can arrange at extra cost from the trip price stated on regular three star and tourist standard hotel accommodation on bed and breakfast basis in Kathmandu and Pokhara.
03: Do you accept only US$ -Euro and UK Pounds?
As per the rules and norms of Nepal government we take only applicable currencies like US $ -Euro and UK Pounds, includes Indian Rupees for only Indian clients, with Chinese Remimbiyan Yuan as well Swiss Franc, Aus-HK and Singapore $ as stated by the Central / Reserve Bank of Nepal.
04: Do you accept all Credit Cards for payment?
After paying and transferring the advance payment through our local bank account, where rest of cost accepted in cash $ -Euro or other applicable currencies, as for credit card payment where 3-4 % additional surcharge is added on top of actual trip cost.
05: When are good seasons to travel into Himalaya?
Like other countries Nepal with four main seasons spring (mid Feb to May) summer (June to August) also a monsoon wet times, with autumn / fall (mid Sept to November) and winter (December to mid February).
The very best season for trekking and other adventure will be from March to May when most of morning till mid afternoon will be clear for mountain with sunshine when wild flowers are in season. October to beginning of December will be best months with clear blue sky and as well for views, but cold in the morning and night time with short sunlight during autumn season.
Most of the treks are done even in the middle of winter for short trekking of few days to a week, we run treks even in monsoon time only for Tibet-Upper Dolpo and Upper Mustang where monsoon rain does not affect much, where high Himalaya blocks the monsoon clouds beyond or other side of Himalaya.
06: Who will accompany us on treks?
In all our package trekking and tours where expert native guides will leads and accompany with porters to carry ones heavier bags or by pack animals (yak or mules), our guide will show you the country of travel with enough information of area on route trekking.
07: Are all guides does have knowledge in medical side?
Yes, for clients safe travel when in medical urgency where our guides can help with simple and minor accidents or sickness, all our guides goes through medical course and training every year to refresh memories and to learn more.
We carry comprehensive medical kit in all treks and tours, for severe cases where victims has to be evacuated to nearest medical help and hospital.
08: Are guides aware of Eco and Responsible Tourism?
Yes,for sure we are completely committed to eco-trekking and tourism as well supporting to preserve the pristine Himalaya nature into its form taking care of rubbish and litter on trails as well helping local villages in hygiene, maintainace of walking trails as well saving the green forest from destruction.
09: Can we find electricity on route in villages?
In major town and large villages do have electricity for your convenience to charge cell-phone batteries or other gadgets, where some remote villages some areas will have solar power and private village hydro plant, all charging involves extra fees charged by lodge owners.
10: What happens if someone is very sick and can’t continue?
For severe illness and accidents where victims has to be evacuated by any means of fast transportation, where helicopter plays important part in Nepal Himalaya for immediate rescue to save life and time of the victims.
We have good relations with many Helicopter companies for fast and safety rescue operation in high mountains of Nepal Himalaya, where clients requires good insurance policy to cover all extra medical expenses including Helicopter rescue.
